General Two of my paintings were selected for the Rockville Art League Juried Members' Show, Varied Media.  It was juried by renowned art critique Lenny Campello.  The show is hanging at the Glenview Mansion Art Gallery and will run from April 29 - May 29, 2012.  It includes 110 pieces of wonderful art, both 2D and 3D.  There was a great turnout for the opening reception last Sunday.  The juror, Lenny Campello spoke to the artists last night, explaining what he looks for when selecting the art for the show.  It was informative to hear about the process from the juror's perspective.  If you live in the area, please stop by to see the show. General I participated in a group show, Making Their Mark, last weekend at the Yellow Barn Gallery.  It drew a large crowd and was quite successful. The experience of showing with 23 other artists was wonderful.  The best news is that my oil painting, "Red Barns" sold and has found a new home. Thank you Mark H.!   Also this month, I submitted my painting entitled "Red Poppies" in the Leading Artists online Gallery's Impressionism Exhibit.  I am happy to say it won a Fourth Place Award.  It was juried by Martha Spak.  I am very pleased!   I will be posting two more paintings in the next couple of days.
